Before relocating in 2020, he organized cultural film events in the Czech Republic and worked as an Industrial Designer in Colombia, where he also led a prominent drawing club supported by the US Embassy.

Jorge Cadena is an award-winning Colombian filmmaker based in Switzerland. His shorts, including El cuento de Antonia and Flores del otro patio, have garnered accolades at Rotterdam, the Berlinale, and SXSW. Currently developing his first feature, Jorge also acts as a co-programmer for FILMAR en América Latina and an international festival juror.
