Colombian-born documentary filmmaker, photographer, multimedia producer, and visual storyteller based in London. Having lived across Colombia, Spain, and the United Kingdom, her own journey of migration has profoundly shaped her exploration of identity, belonging, community, and the human experience.

She is the founder of *Awaken Media Prod*, an independent production company dedicated to authentic audiovisual storytelling that documents real lives, cultural heritage, and social impact initiatives. Through documentary filmmaking, photography, podcasts, and community engagement, Awaken Media Prod creates spaces for cultural exchange, dialogue, and reflection, believing that stories have the power to plant the seeds of change and awakening.

Paola is also the creator and host of *AwakeNomada*, a podcast that explores the many dimensions of human experience through conversations on culture, migration, spirituality, creativity, entrepreneurship, and personal transformation. Her work extends beyond a single theme, embracing the complexity of life through diverse voices and perspectives.

Her projects include Emigrar es Emprender, Gastrodiplomacy, the international photography exhibition Kanimambo, and collaborations with organisations and festivals across Latin America and Europe.
